A little light reading

Olivia and I went to a local bookstore today to get a copy of the final book. We had fun knocking around Main Street in downtown Norfolk and taking a few photos. Steve and I went to see the Harry Potter movie last night and both of us really liked it. I'm anxious to see how the final books ends, but of course a little sad, too.

Anytime I take photos indoors where the cats are, they want to be involved. I have countless photos with cat tails in them, unseen at the time of the snap!

Same time of day as this one - so very similar. Wanted another one for a "series" in case I hang them one day.

More flowers. Am thinking about offering these flower photos as notecards and seeing if they'd sell somewhere like Etsy.

More experimentation. Gotta love the Harris Teeter flowers that last FOR-ever. These are going into their second week with no sign of fading. The daisies I bought last time lasted literally an entire month. I love having fresh flowers in the house. A luxury that makes me smile. (Until the cats eat them.)
Just a note: This doesn't mean we've decided who we'll vote for in 2008. But we're thrilled to see that Barack Obama has decided to run. We believe he has the potential to move the presidential race beyond, in his words, "divisive idealogical politics." And that would be a refreshing change, no matter who wins.2.
