New landscaping - part deux
Last summer, we had someone rip all the bushes out of our two side beds - and they've sat empty for a year. The front beds were "professionally" landscaped the winter of 2005 but were pretty much half empty. After a lot of late nights staring out the window at the yard, I finally came up with a landscaping "plan." (Little circles and numbers on paper.)
Matt-the-lawn-guy delivered all the plants I ordered and yesterday we sat them out and he then planted them all. Steve and I both feel that Matt-the-lawn-guy's charge of $5 to plant a plant is well worth it, as it means Steve doesn't have to deal with my inability to figure out where I want plants to go!
So, ta-da. After living here since October 2004, we now have an actually completed landscaped yard. Woot! The front beds are similar to what they were - just filled in with enough plants to actually look decent. The side beds are all new - as they were empty.
