Laura Hexamer - Writer

I am a crazed mom trying to hold down a day job, get my business up and running, and raise 2 kids. I am a 30-year-old mother of 2 monkeys: Tommy, 4, and Anna, 2. My wonderful husband and I have been married for a busy 5 years. We live in FAR north suburban Chicago (practically Wisconsin).

I work 4 days a week as a chemist in pharmaceutical discovery for a major healthcare company. As if a day job and raising kids wasn't enough, I also have my hobby turned business. I am jewelry designer and owner of Sapphire Lizard Designs.
