That last link, the game, brought to by Nasonex. For every unique player a low-allergenic tree will be planted, with a goal of 20,000 trees. Tree planting is one of the best ways to reduce the amount of CO2 in the air.

Why: Happy Passover! It's also Good Wednesday, and If you're like me, have yet to purchase the goodies. I wait until the last minute to buy the chocolate for the baskets because if it's in the house too long beforehand, I'll eat it! This year, I'm making a specific effort to buy the Lindt Gold Bunny for my girls.

For every Lindt Gold Bunny sold through April 12^th Lindt donates 10 cents to Autism Speaks up to a $100,000 donation. So find a Lindt retail store near you and buy some bunnies.

To further symbolize and support the partnership, Lindt designed plush Lindt Gold Bunny Ears. The ears are provided at select Walk Now for Autism events and can be purchased at Lindt Chocolate Shops and online.

Why: It's SPRING! Take your kids out and start a garden. Vegetable gardens all the rage (again!), but you can start smaller with an herb container garden (fresh basil, yum!)

This teaches your kids that some food grows in the earth, it doesn't just pop up magically in the grocery store. It saves you money plus you know exactly where that food is coming from.

Why: Read the site for more info about stress reduction and guided imagery as taught by Dr. Miriam Franco. Click through to the store, she offers CDs/Mp3s geared toward caregivers, MS patients, kidney disease patients and brides.

The Destress 101 CD is worth it's weight in gold. I may have mentioned - like 80billion times - that I am a nervous flyer? Well that is an understatement. In the week leading up to a plane ride I reach levels of anxiety that suggest Prozac should be re-introduced to my blood stream. I don't sleep well, and when I do it's filled with nightmares of fire and horrible accidents involving my children. It's just...a bad time to be in my head.

We just returned from our vacay and I whole-heartedly endorse using the guided imagery on Destress 101if you suffer from fear of flying. Or you know...stress of any sort. I'm listening every day now (it's only 15 minutes-ish) and can feel the difference. Taking that time to release the stress from my body and mind is, well, freeing.

Why: In a few weeks we're off to Florida to visit my dad. These sites (and others that I apparently didn't bookmark) were helpful when I was planning our last trip down and I'm revisiting them as I plan logistics for this one.

Also, a brief shout out to Southwest. The crew on both flights were awesome to all the kids on the plane. Considering it was my kids' first plane trip and they were on it with me, the nervous flyer, it was a much better experience than I expected. We're flying Southwest again (nonstop from PHL to PBI, sweet!) and will continue to as long as they continue to treat us like humans and not cattle.
